Team Lego

For a service on teamwork in ministry we emphasized that we cannot fulfill God’s calling by ourselves. To illustrate this we had two Lego bridge building stations. Each had a Lego base with two banks and a river and the beginnings of a bridge on each bank. Before people arrived we scattered various Lego pieces in each seat. During the message we made reference to these pieces and how each was different. Later we invited people to come forward during worship singing to contribute their piece to the bridge building effort. Some “Lego maniacs” stayed at the stations supervising the building, others simply added their piece to the project. In the end we had two Lego bridges spanning the rivers and people were able to participate in and see before their eyes the truth that together we can accomplish things for God’s Kingdom that we could never do alone!
